Recipe Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup M&M’S Milk Chocolate, divided
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Pinch ground cloves
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup icing sugar
- 2 tbsp molasses
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 2 oz white chocolate candy melts
- 1 tsp edible glitter
Directions:
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes (+ 2 hours standing time)
- Chop half of the M&M’S White Chocolate Pretzel Snowballs; set aside.
- Whisk together flour, ginger, cinnamon, salt and cloves; set aside.
- Using electric mixer, beat butter, icing sugar and molasses until blended; beat in vanilla. Stir in flour mixture and almond flour until combined. Stir in chopped M&M’S White Chocolate Pretzel Snowballs. Refrigerate dough for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Divide dough into 12 portions. Roll each portion into ball; transfer to parchment paper–lined cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until set and lightly golden. Let cool completely.
- Meanwhile, in microwavable bowl, microwave white chocolate candy melts, stirring every 30 seconds, for about 1 minute or until melted. Using 2 forks, dip each cookie into melted candy melts (or drizzle melted candy melts over cookies).
- Place on parchment paper–lined baking tray. Garnish with remaining M&M’s White Chocolate Pretzel Snowballs and edible glitter. Let stand for 30 to 60 minutes or until chocolate is set and hardened.
Tip: As a variation, roll and coat snowball cookies in icing sugar and chopped M&M’S while they are still warm.
